Marta believes in the power of aesthetics and design—to make communications more effective and drive common understanding; to move people viscerally and spark a sense of connection; to help ideas stick and inspire action.
She uses her experience in strategy and design to develop purpose-driven brands from the inside out—helping to communicate effectively, create meaningful experiences, and realize visions.
Ranging in industries from food and beverage to healthcare and tech, Marta has collaborated with clients like World Wildlife Fund, Suntory, Nestlé, Planned Parenthood, Anheuser-Busch, The J.M. Smucker Company, Intuit, Revolution Foods, and Stone Barns Agricultural Center to push their products, brands, and approach to innovation.
Prior to starting her independent practice, Marta was Design Director at IDEO, a global design firm, where she spent close to eight years using the design thinking process to define innovative solutions. Before IDEO, Marta worked as an in-house graphic designer + art director at Target and Yahoo!, and as a freelance designer for clients including Williams-Sonoma, Papyrus, Pottery Barn, and Workman Publishing.
Marta graduated as Salutatorian from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2009 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising Design. She’s spoken about design at The Aspen Institute First Movers Fellowship Program, In/Visible Talks conference, Stanford’s FoodInno symposium, and The Engine’s Food & Ag Tech workshop. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Art Director’s Club, HOW Magazine, Computer Arts Magazine, CMYK magazine, AdFed MN, and GD USA.
